Nicole, originally from rural Upstate New York, landed in West Virginia by way of Florida. She holds a masters degree in Music Therapy and works full time with the aging population as a Regional Director.
Nicole delved into the home decor world through her Instagram, @nolaacres, which was originally created to document and share the progress of her and hubby’s custom, modern farmhouse build.
As the popularity of her Instagram grew, she realized she had a love and a passion for home decor, all things farmhouse and country living. If it’s chippy, aqua or says “farmhouse,” there’s a good bet it will be found at Nola Acres.
In addition to her farmhouse passions, Nicole enjoys spending time with her hubby, Josh, and goldendoodle, Nola, as well German Shepherd Goby and her family and friends. Music, pretending to be a gardener, buying enough plants to drive the hubby bonkers, plus anything on the water and outdoor activities are a welcome escape from the day to day grind. Also, wine. Definitely wine.
She’s also addicted to HGTV, as well as everything Fixer Upper, but then again, what kind of farmhouse girl isn’t?
